Update… OUR COVID-19 RESPONSE & PREPAREDNESS

As we continue to navigate during, this period of travel uncertainty Royal Glitter Bay Villas takes this opportunity to once again assure you that the health and wellbeing of our guests and team members is our highest priority. We are doing all that we can to ensure your travel safety and provide maximum flexibility as the circumstances surrounding novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve.

Travel Protocols

All passengers travelling to Barbados will be required to have a negative COVID-19 antigen test within 72 hours of commencement of travel. The test must be ISO:15189, CAP, UKAS compliant or equivalent. 

All passengers will be expected to complete the Embarkation/Disembarkation (ED) card prior to departure including specific questions relating to issues of personal health and symptoms. Once submitted, passengers will receive an email confirmation with a barcode confirming your certificate to travel to Barbados. Important Note - We advise that you review any national, local, and health advisories prior to booking. Royal Glitter Bay Villas will not accept any responsibility for unforeseen circumstances or expenses incurred as a result of cancellations or no shows due to any COVID-19 travel restrictions, including specific restrictions for self-quarantine.

Booking Flexibility

To provide greater travel flexibility during this COVID-19 pandemic, Royal Glitter Bay Villas introduced a temporary relaxed cancellation policy on July 1, 2020:

EXISTING BOOKINGS (i.e. any bookings made prior to July 1, 2020)

i) Any changes made more than 30 days prior to arrival will be subject to the cancellation policy in place at the time of booking.

ii) No penalty for cancellations 30 days or less prior to arrival. The full credit of funds paid will be extended for a future stay within the next 12 months. 

NEW BOOKINGS received from July 1, 2020, for stays now – December 15, 2021; Special conditions apply to the Christmas period 15 December through to 6 January 2020 & 2021: 

i) Free cancellation more than 30 days prior to arrival.

ii) No penalty for cancellations 30 days or less prior to arrival. The full credit of funds paid will be extended for a future stay within the next 12 months. 

NONREFUNDABLE BOOKINGS (received from July 1, 2020)

i) No penalty for cancellations 30 days or less prior to arrival. The full credit of funds paid will be extended for a future stay within the next 12 months.
