Our stay at Royal Glitter Bay exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment that we arrived and were greeted by Nuru we felt embraced with hospitality. The peace and tranquility of the Glitter Bay Estate did not waste any time in ridding us of the stresses of everyday life. The villa was equipped with everything we needed to feel most comfortable and well taken care of. Many days started with a walk on the beach and it was so relaxing lounging on the private beach or by the pool with a book with intermittent swims to cool off.

It felt wonderful choosing to do as much or as little as desired. Restaurants and stores are conveniently located not far from the estate. The exceptional Nuru took care of any arrangements necessary when we chose an activity that interested us. By the end of our stay we felt rejuvenated. It was a lovely experience that we would recommend to everyone and we hope to experience it again someday.

” NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the “Royal Glitter Bay Villas ” in Barbados. From the moment we stepped on the property we knew it was going to be nothing short of amazing. We were met by a Fabulous lady ” Nuru” who took us straight to the bar upon our arrival and we were served the most refreshing Rum Punch drink which is well known to the Islanders… She took us through the complex for a tour, had our bags delivered to our rooms and made us feel like Royalty. What a beginning. The Beach was Pristine. You couldn’t keep me out of the water! It was simply Divine.

The staff are the Best, they treat everyone with a high degree of respect. Whether you were looking for directions or an opinion on where to go for fun…anything, they are at your beck & call. We can even say that we thoroughly enjoyed the occasional seller coming to our lounger. They were extremely interesting and respectful of your time. You can get anything from the most amazing massage using a real Aloe Vera plant to shopping for local art and Jewellery.

The condo itself is Spic and Span and nicely decorated with a wonderful balcony overlooking the pool and some with ocean views. You can walk the beaches both ways and meet up with amazing people from all over the world. We spent our time soaking in the sun, reading a book, walking along the beach . Sometimes we ate at the bar on the site and the food was very good.

Just returned from an 8 night stay in unit 414. This unit is one of nine owned and managed by Eden Resorts at Royal Glitter Bay Estate. Our experience was exceptional from start to finish! The booking process was simple and communication with Eden’s onsite manager made us feel comfortable and very welcome even before arrival. The combination of privately owned beautifully decorated condo units, onsite management, hotel type services and professional friendly staff is indeed a winner.

” ALL THE COMFORTS OF HOME”

This unit was very spacious and nicely decorated with all the comforts of home. The building and grounds were very clean and well maintained. The house keeping services were excellent as well as the concierge. The property is gated and secure, with 24 hour security. Not that you need it as I never felt unsafe traveling around Barbados. The locals here are very friendly.

The pool is just outside and the property is right on a great section of beach, excellent for swimming and walking. Fabulous restaurants are within walking distance right along the beach and the town is just minutes away.

Staying here was a completely different experience than a crowded all inclusive resort. I would highly recommend Royal Glitter Bay to a couple looking for a romantic getaway or a family seeking an awesome Caribbean vacation. I hope to make it back to Barbados someday.

I was impressed by the number of staff working every day taking care of the entire place. The beach is nice and deep with assigned chairs and umbrella so no mad rush to get down there to stake out your place. Wonderful swim area and a little coral reef off to one side should you want to practice your snorkeling.

The beach was gorgeous. Not one in all four of us had a complaint and all agreed we would come back here again. From the view of the grounds from our terrace overlooking the palm trees with morning sightings of the green monkeys, to walking to snorkel with the Sea Turtles, viewing the parakeet tree and the crab motel…we loved every minute of our vacation.

” PERFECT BEACH AND TURQUOISE WATER”

Glitter Bay offering a relatively wide stretch of perfect beach and clear, turquoise water, with loungers and umbrellas pre-assigned to the occupants of each apartment for their stay so that these will be ready and waiting for you whenever you hit the beach. Each morning people would walk the beach, carrying turtles which had just hatched to the safety of the water, which may give you an idea of the idyllic scenery awaiting you.

For the otherwise relatively cramped West Coast, the grounds are vast, lush and beautifully maintained, complete with monkeys in the trees and hummingbirds in your balcony flower beds.

The beach is probably the best, a lot of people walk along the edge of the water, and most of the hotels have narrow beaches so you are quite close to everyone passing by. At Glitter Bay it is wide with the sun loungers set back from the water. It is very peaceful.

The grounds are just so spacious – our boys can run around without disturbing anyone and the small ones can enjoy the children’s play area by the wading pool – it has play equipment just perfect for them. The beach is wonderful – our children love building sandcastles and we love watching the sunset while sipping our rum punches.

I have just returned from a brilliant 12ngt holiday at 108 glitter bay. Very lovely ground floor bright/airy 1 bedroom apartment. The maid was very efficient each day she cleaned and left clean fresh towels/linen. The apartment always looked perfect when we came back from the long day on the beautiful golden beach (just 100yds away). Big thank you to the brilliant NURU. She was so helpful and professional from start to finish her service was 1st class.

Beach/and staff so very friendly. Royal Glitter Bay is a really relaxing, “under the radar” complex. So good for families with young kiddies as the beach is beautiful and wide although couples perfect spot also.

The booking process was simple and communication with Nuru Patterson Edens onsite manager made us feel comfortable and very welcome even before arrival.

I could write pages and pages about our fantastic stay here, about every detail, about how everything exceeded our expectations but I won’t as it all needs to be experienced first hand.

I will write however that Nuru Patterson and Eden Resorts have done a great job with their units at Glitter Bay. The units are as described and pictured, the services promised were delivered and exceeded and all staff were very friendly and helpful.

The combination of privately owned beautifully decorated condo units, onsite management, hotel type services and professional friendly staff is indeed a winner.

The west coast of Barbados is beautiful and Royal Glitter Bay is a great place to call home while there.

” FABULOUS EXPERIENCE MADE EXTRA SPECIAL BY EDEN RESORTS”

I would definitely recommend staying here using Eden Resorts as I will always remember the personal service we received.

The suites are of excellent standard, clean, bright and having all that you need for your stay. Plentiful toiletries and another nice touch was the welcome pack and fresh flower arrangement on arrival. There is internet connection and good sized televisions for those who feel the need to watch on holiday.

I would like to stress one of the most important factors for such a special stay was the service we had from the manager at Eden Resorts. On arrival at Glitter Bay we were then personally greeted by Nuru and her team. Bearing in mind that it was 9pm on Boxing Day, we thought this was a lovely touch. I have stayed in many places where the service has been good, but Nuru went out of her way to arrange for roses and champagne for my future son-in-law to propose on New Years Eve.

Before leaving the UK I emailed Nuru as I was concerned that all the stores would be closed as it was Bank Holiday, I gave her a small list and she very kindly got me a few items from the supermarket. she was always willing to meet our requests and always with a friendly smile. After walking us to our suite she gave us a brief introduction to the resort and asked if there was anything else we needed for the evening. She then proceeded to secure a table at the ever popular Lonestar Restaurant arranging transportation through Derek as it was raining.

Glitter Bay itself lies in very spacious grounds and I personally think that this is one of the best beaches on the West Coast ( I have been on most) It is fairly wide, calm most of the time and also sandy on entrance to the sea. Bliss. We stayed at probably the busiest time of the year we didn’t have any problems securing a comfy sunbed. The pool is also enticing, its clean and cool.

The bar area is good for drinks and snacks. We ate at Lonestar, Daphnes, Tides ,Il Tempio, Bajan Blue, The Fish Pot, Champers, The Mews ,Pisces and a Friday night fish fry at Oistens.
