Welcome to the beautiful island of Barbados located at 13°N 59°W in the Caribbean. The most easterly island of the region it is the  home of some of the most beautiful white sandy beaches in the world. The island is relatively flat with lush vegetation and fauna and near perfect weather year round.

Its coral core provide an excellent supply of drinking water that is amongst the purest in the world. The capital city is Bridgetown which is a great spot for duty free shopping and sight seeing. A must see is the Barbados Parliament buildings, some of the oldest in the western hemisphere and the spectacular Harrisons Cave which is a series of underwater caves and lakes.

Barbados is rich in history and culture, activities, night life, music, and some of the best restaurants to be found anywhere. If you like great food and magnificent scenery then this is the place for you. Besides these it is known for its warm and friendly people. The official language is English and there is also a local dialect spoken.
